Cancellation Policy: We are usually fully-booked with appointments at least 24-48 hours in advance, and scheduling your consult guarantees time set aside for you. Therefore, we require cancellation more than 24 hours from the time of your appointment, subject to a $30 administrative cancellation fee. Cancellations less than 24 hours before the time of your appointment are subject to a cancellation fee equal to 100% of your consult fee. Appointments on a Monday require cancellation by the appropriate time on the preceding Friday. The $50 Question & Answer Call for Landlord/Tenant matters is nonrefundable once paid, with no exceptions. If you pay for any expedited consult that bears a premium cost (which can only be scheduled by calling 832-390-2949 and inquiring about availability), the entire amount is nonrefundable once paid and scheduled.
Reschedule Policy: If you provide written notice (by email to cjanzen@zapalaclawfirm.com or info@zapalaclawfirm.com) of your desire to reschedule your appointment before your appointment time comes, we can allow one reschedule of your appointment with no additional cost or fees. If no written reschedule request is received and you do not answer the call for your scheduled appointment and/or you only make a reschedule request after your appointment time, you will be subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the amount paid, though we reserve the right to allow a reschedule in our sole discretion. Reschedule requests MUST be received in writing and no voicemail/phone call reschedule requests will be honored.
